I used to be the biggest vampire knight fan, I had the manga, fanbook,Yuki cosplay(I'm a girl), anime DVD, Yuki bracelets,and a wall scroll too. I admired everything Matsuri Hino provided, each word, each detail, I can even recite the books. I laughed, I cried and idolized this series, that is, until book 8. I find out Yuki and Kaname are related(which didn't bother me, it was obvious, I mean DUH! Yuki's the freaking girl version of Kaname! They look exactly alike!!!) But then the academy is later abolished(along with the night class) because Rido attacks the school with an army of vampires. Seriously that pissed me off, I loved the idea of teen vampires going to highschool! Why did Hino do that?Anyway what really made me mad was that Yuki left with Kaname. She's growing up too fast now, s***...and they're getting married! Wtf?! Now there is no longer a well developed plot. Thanks for ruining VK for us Hino. Please and thank you for listening.P.S. Which of these two jobs should I take?

I have been offered two jobs and have to make a decision ASAP. Both positions are in the same city. One pays $38k and one pays $52k. The $38k position is a 6 month temporary position, but if it works out, I may be offered a supervisor position that starts out around $60k. The $52k position is a permanent position with a 5% annual pay increase, but I'm pretty much stuck in that position for at least 10 years. Both jobs have similar benefits except the $52k position's retirement plan can't be used until after 20-30 years on the job, which is fine as I won't want to relocate and it's for a university, so I could easily find another job there and continue my retirement. The $52 position is a systems analyst, but the $38k position is a high-throughput data analyst which after some experience in, could lead to a 6 figure job if I ever wanted to move to a larger pharmaceutical corporation. The systems analyst position is basically a desk job, while the high-throughput job, I would have two desks and apart from database work, I would be working with actual biological samples, chemicals, lab mice, wear a lab coat & goggles, etc. Apart from the obvious $14k difference for the first 6 months, one job has a lot more potential in the future, would be way more exciting, and also has coolness factor like working with medical marijuana. I just got out of the military and have no desire to do anything illegal or stupid, it's just a little bit of a coolness factor. In all seriousness, I know which ever position I take, I could regret in 6 months, but with the high throughput job, I may actually be a lot better off down the road. What should I do. Both positions have been offered to me.

Did I win the fight, or was there a winner at all?

So today I got into a fight with another kid at school. I don't like giving the details why we fought because they're long. So what happens is we go after lunch to the place we're gonna fight and we're both ready to do it. I take off my jacket and school ID since I don't want to lose coolness and energy while fighting him. He's ready so I get into a fighting stance, and not really sure If I should just throw the punch already or what. Someone yells to go already, so we do. I get in first punch to his face. He tries for a punch and misses me, I go for one and miss, and he gets a pretty good swing on the side of my face (ear and cheek). He goes for some kind of grab/clinch and I knee him hard in his thigh, then take his head and try slamming into a wall. Not a very good slam, and he recovers. Another hit to me on my mouth, not so painful. Still very much in pain from face hit. Go for a straight kick into his stomach, dodges and my foot hits the wall next to us. Another hit to me, hits my general face, not painful at all. Still in horrible pain from face hit, trying to back up and get energy. Finally kneel down on foot and knee, he stops and shows me mercy (for a minute, finally.) Teacher runs over and we get in trouble. I'm sorry I have to ask this, but kids called it a weak fight. Canada WW2 - Regimental transfers?

Referring to Canadian soldiers during ww2. I know older brothers were able to "claim" their younger sibling to be in the same regiment as them. However, what process had to be followed in order to apply for a transfer to a totally different regiment, possibly in a different division. (ie. Fusiliers-Mont-Royal to West Novies) - Maybe it differed according to the height of the war or if you just graduated from an OTC/ATC etc with a local regiment recruiting in the active battalion? maybe it was easy to transfer but harder to transfer into an active militia battalion? Need help figuring out what the deal is with my shoulder?

For several years, I would go outside with my kids and throw the football. (Would frequently launch the ball over the house, across the yard, down the hill and in to the drive way, so I could hear them freak out about the coolness of my super human throwing abilities.) Well for a year and half, I have been paying for it big time! My shoulder hurts every single day in varying degrees. The pain stays at about a 4 or 5 and frequently shoots up to a 7 or 8 at some point during the day. I have pain when I lift my arm. Some days if I move my neck in certain positions its excruciating! It just won't stop. I try to hold out as long as possible but typically have to take Motrin or Tylenol at least twice a week. (Just to avoid the stress of feeling pain.) Does this sound like a torn rotator cuff? Would an injury like this heal on its own after a certain amount of time? I kept hoping it would but it isn't, and I'm tired of living with constant pain. (Doctor isn't really an option for me $$$$)

I live in a studio sort of. There are two rooms. When you walk in you are in the living room, that is 8ft by 17ft. then theres a door to the next room. How can i treat my dogs pressure sore?

Last summer, a pressure sore appeared on my dogs shoulder. He has a thing for sleeping on the bathroom floor. We try to get him on the carpeting or put a towel under him but he likes the coolness of the tiles. The problem was that he keeps licking at it and putting more pressure until one day it got so bad that we took him to the vet. The veterinarian gave us a cream to apply and told us to keep it cushioned at all times. She covered his shoulder with pads. The problem is that since it is at the very top of his arm and right on the bend, it slides down. We've tried shoulder pads, socks with a rubber band, ace wrap, and so much more but with in a matter of minutes it slides down. We don't want to cover him with something that will keep him from being able to bend his arm. Especially because hes always going up and down the steps and we don't want something to happen. Last year we went to the last resort by taping on the pad with the cream but of course it wasn't good when we had to take it back off. We really need to find something to use before it gets infected again or worse. Any suggestions please? Were thinking of shaving around the area so that we can apply tape again but we would rather not. We just need to find away to be able to keep the pad with the treatment on and some sort of cushioning that won't slide down. Thanks for your help!

What can I do about a problem landlord?

I'm having a problem with my landlords. I moved out of my old apartment because my old landlords were away most of the yr on vacation and it made things difficult for me to get things repaired or handle concerns with the apartment. They frequently needed to come into my dwelling and i had had enough so I moved into another apartment that I later realized was illegal. This landlord is slow to repair things, I have a water leak in my living room as well as an open drain in the floor which I believe I am getting a large amount of my water bugs from. Things in the apartment that were poorly and hastily constructed by the landlord himself tend to fall apart quickly such as towel racks and toothbrush holders and toilet paper hangers. They have insisted that I would not need an air conditioner over the summer due to the coolness of the basement but when I told them it was over 80 degrees in the apartment they shrugged me off as if I didn't know what I was talking about in order to persuade me into not getting an air conditioner. We don't have separate meters and he charges 900 dollars a month for a small one bedroom (the bedroom not much bigger than the size of a california king size bed so its not really a "bedroom") and there is no window in the bedroom. To make things worse, the insulation on the door is terrible and ive had to insulate it myself which wasn't enough and he complains to me if i use an electric heater because he doesn't want to pay the electric for it, yet im freezing down here and he doesn't seem to care" Finally, for six months now i've an infestation of fruit flies that I couldn't kill off. I tried bleach in the drains and fruit fly traps from amazon.com which ran me in excess of 50 dollars and ive had no luck. I noticed they had them upstairs too and so I asked them to call somebody and when I did I was not only shrugged off, but then he proceeds to get aggressive with me and start looking around my apartment for things to complain about and calling me a liar, saying that I use the electric heater all day, and then proceeds to speak in italian swearing up a storm to some stranger ive never met. This goes on and on and on and they've threatened to throw me out over stupid **** before so its time that I find out what my rights are and how I can screw them over in return because they're obviously interested only in my money, and not in being decent landlords, and when I make simple requests im met with hostility and indifference. i don't have the money to move and the rent is costing me half my months salary as it is. DIY dehumidifier ideas wanted?

During the summer it costs me more than a dollar a day (250 KWHr/month) to run the dehumidifier in the basement. Being a green kind of guy, I wonder if there's a way to dry out the air using the solar power that's abundant during hot humid weather. My thoughts are: use an air-to-air heat exchanger to just heat the air (thus reducing the %RH); using a dessicant wheel that's recharged using solar heat (I've seen some commercial units, but they're too big); or using an absorption cycle cooler that uses a solar collector (has to be high temp); or a thermoelectric cooler run by a PV panel (not good efficiency). There's a good rule of thumb in writing called beginning "in media res". What that means is, when you write a story, begin in the middle of the action. I miss all those shows!!!! :( I also miss Toonami which I guess was the tme when they would show those actionpacked cartoons, mostly anime. I'm just glad they have Boomerang, but Cartoon Network sucks now :( After all those shows went away then so did Toonamu and now they make Live/people shows! Its CARTOON Network, sigh I'm just glad I was born 1997 and was able to grow up with all those shows and Toonami. The only "good" channel now a days is Nicktoons.

Full ride or ivy league for volleyball?

I am a rising senior in high school, and I play volleyball. I have been looking at playing somewhere in college, and have had a couple offers for full rides at division 1 schools. These schools are pretty good academically, and they are overall nice. However, I have also been talking to ivy league schools, and many of them are interested. I have the grades and scores to get in. But ivy leagues don't give any kind of merit or athletic scholarships. Do you think that the education I would receive there is worth not getting a full ride? We can afford to pay, but it would be nice not to have to worry about paying for college. So, should I go with a full ride somewhere with not as good academics, or have to pay for an ivy league education??

Well, hello. Ok, right so im currently stationed in Brisbane. And I'm travelling down to Tasmania sometime later this year for a National Trampolining Competition. And i thought, how fun would it be if down there i put some colours of my club in my hair. So my club colours are dark green and dark blue (bleeh. :/ i know right). And i am going to go out of my way to purchase the bleach cause my hair is really dark. (don't worry, i know what i'm doing) And after bleaching it im gunna put the semi green hair dye in the Blonde/brassy parts. Let them do there thing and bravo, i will be the centre of team attention. BUT! the thing that stands in my way is the travel. Can i take the bleach and dying equipment down and which bag do i put it in. Whats wrong with my shoulder/back muscle?

Okay, So for the past year, Ive been having awful pain in my upper left muscle right above my shoulder blade but not technically on my shoulder, right underneath.
