Will I see any action i have 25 bravo as my mos?

I am a future solider for the us army and i have chosen 25 bravo as my mos. I leave November 15 for basic at Fort Benning and AIT at Fort Gordon. I love working with computers thats why i chose that mos but, I dont want to sit on my ***. I want to see some action. What I'm asking is, will I get to fight or at least assist out in the field? I heard you can volunteer to fight but will you get the benefits if you do?
