My refrigerator does not work- has no power any tips what to look for?

worked fine last year - the apartment I had it in was vacant for 3 months and it was unplugged now I plugged it in and I get nothing. There is no on/ off switch just a control to turn the coolness up and down, i turned it on the highest setting and still nothing. I tired a different outlet also,still nothing and he light inside won;t even turn on. I am at a loss- help please!!!
