Because I'm wondering if god is in my life does that mean he's not?

I reaccpeted him earlier today and asked forgiveness for my sins and asked him into my heart and I cried I felt it in my stomach and a coolness on my shoulders I swear it was him wasn't it? :)) but I'm curious if he's really there?
